National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR)
The Major William Thomas Chapter, NSDAR, was organized on October 23, 1915. The chapter was named in honor of the ancestor of Annie Thomas Lilburn, the organizing chapter regent.
Membership: Major William Thomas Chapter, NSDAR, boasts 71 members. To join, a woman must be at least 18 years of age and prove lineal, bloodline decent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence.
What we do: NSDAR is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education for children.
